Tech Tip - Sender Grounding

Sometimes single wire senders (DiPricol and Autometer) do not make a good ground contact. If your TT gauge is not reading correctly this could be the problem.  One solution is to attach a small S.S. hose clamp to the hex of the sender and insert a wire between the sender and the clamp. The other end of the wire can be rerouted to a good ground on the vehicle.  Here we are grounding it to the transmission cooler line with another hose clamp.
2 wires senders (ISSPRO) will not have this problem because one of the wires is a ground.
