You may find that the
oil dipstick tube
prevents you from
screwing in the electric
sender. If this is the
case you will need to
install a 90º elbow into
the banjo bolt as we
have done here. Apply 2 wraps of Teflon
tape to the male threads
of the elbow and
tighten. You want to
tighten it enough that
it will not leak, but
not so much that it is
pointed toward the
engine. In this
picture the elbow is
conveniently pointed
toward the brake master
cylinder. Apply Teflon
tape to the sender and
tighten. The electric
sender in this picture
is a DiPricol. |
