The DieselManor
Transcender™ was developed to allow for accurate reading of your
transmission fluid temperature without the hassle of tapping
into the cooler line. It takes merely a few minutes to
install. The Transcender™ simply attaches to the cooler line
with the supplied hose clamp and the sender gets installed
without the need of Teflon tape or other thread sealants.
The Transcender™ works by monitoring the radiated heat in
the cooler line. Our tests have showed that the Transcender™
reads approximately 5 degrees cooler at 200°F, compared to
monitoring the fluid temperature with the sender in the
cooler line.
Because the
DieselManor Transcender™
merely attached to your OEM cooler line, it will not void
your factory warranty.
Tech Tip: We recommend that you put some anti-seize
lube inside the threaded portion of the Transcender™ to help
conduct the heat to your sender.
