CLEAN & LUBE is a diesel fuel additive formulated to increase
overall fuel system lubricity and improve diesel fuel
Diesel fuel lubricity is a major concern because of Ultra Low
Sulfur Diesel (ULSD). ULSD contains significantly less lubricity
than Low Sulfur Diesel (LSD). As a result, metal components in
the engine fuel system are susceptible to failure. CLEAN & LUBE
will increase fuel system lubricity. Increased lubricity
protects against premature failure of engine fuel system
components including fuel pumps and injectors by forming a
protective layer on metal surfaces.
CLEAN & LUBE contains a detergent additive that will increase
engine power and fuel economy (miles per gallon) by improving
fuel combustion. Over time, fuel injectors build carbon
deposits, gums, and varnishes that plug the critical close
tolerances of the fuel system retarding fuel combustion. Engine
power and fuel economy can suffer from even extremely small
deposits. CLEAN & LUBE will clean fuel injectors maximizing fuel
economy and combustion by removing these deposits and providing
for a uniform spray pattern.
CLEAN & LUBE will reduce particulate emissions and black smoke
by improving fuel combustion. Particulate emissions and black
smoke result from improper combustion of diesel fuel.
CLEAN & LUBE exceeds the Cummins L-10 Superior rating. The
Cummins L10 test is used to evaluate the effectiveness of diesel
fuel additives in improving injector performance.

For Regular Preventative Maintenance -
Use 1 pint to every 100 gallons of fuel before filling tank. Use
at least once every 2,500 miles. For fast cleaning of carbonized
or plugged injectors use 1 pint for every 50 gallons of fuel.
