We like to use this anti-seize lubricant on thermocouple
fittings when installing pyrometer (EGT) gauges.
Standard anti-seize (aluminum) and even High-temperature
(copper) anti-seize is usually rated for 1600-1800°F.
Nickel anti-seize has a much higher rating and can
withstand temperatures up to 2400°F. It's much less
prone to burn-off over time, so it's our choice for
applications that endure extreme temperatures.
Permatex Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant protects metal
parts from seizing and galling at temperatures up to
2400°F (1316°C). It is an ideal lubricant for handling
extreme temperatures and pressures, it protects metal
parts in harsh conditions like marine environments where
salt water can easily corrode metals, making disassembly
and assembly for repairs more difficult. It is
recommended where copper contamination must be avoided,
under conditions of extreme pressure and temperature,
and with stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys.
It's is also well suited for steel and cast iron
• Convenient half-ounce tube is perfect for small scale
jobs, including thermocouple fittings, spark plugs,
exhaust manifold bolts, muffler clamps, and tailpipe
• Highest temperature rated anti-seize lubricant -
• Thermocouple fittings
• Spark plugs
• Exhaust manifold bolts
• Muffler clamps
• Tailpipe assemblies
• Turbocharger housing bolts where thread locking
compound is not required
